While Turkey’s exports in ship, yacht and services industry hit 6.4 billion dollars in 5 years, the highest sales in this period were to Norway with 1 billion 647 million dollars.
According to the information obtained from Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) data, exports of the domestic ship, yacht and services industry continued to grow for 5 years albeit with a fluctuating course. Sector exports which had summed up to 1 billion 338 million 158 thousand dollars in 2017, were recorded as 990 million 529 thousand dollars in 2018, 1 billion 42 million 326 thousand dollars in 2019 and 1 billion 375 million 6 thousand dollars in 2020.
Maintaining its growth in 2021, the year that witnessed record-breaking exports, the industry achieved a foreign sales figure of 1 billion 626 million 377 thousand dollars. This made a total of 6 billion 372 million 397 thousand dollars’ worth of exports in the period between 2017-2021.
