The building process has begun at the sheet cutting ceremony at the Karachi Shipyard in Pakistan for the final of the four ships to be built in Pakistan by the Turkish defence industry company ASFAT under the MILGEM project.
ASFAT Director, Akgün expressed during the event that they reinforced the brotherhood between the two nations by great collaboration and cooperation. He stated that 32 blocks have so far been completed and laid down in the MILGEM project.
Akgün added that 14 completed blocks were expected to be laid down and 38 blocks were under construction.
