A ceremony was held for the launch and factory opening of the second phase of the ZEETUG, the world’s first all-electric tugboat developed and built by NAVTEK.
The second hull of the ZEETUG, the world’s first all-electric tugboat brand, whose first hull has been operating under GISAŞ for close to two years and has achieved successful operations since then, was keel laid with a ceremony.
In addition, the ZEETUG Factory, which was put into operation in partnership with Navtek, the developer of ZEETUG, and GISAŞ, the first operator to add ZEETUG to its fleet, and which will host the building of electric tugboats and launching operations, was also opened at the ceremony.
