The Turkish Lloyd gives China a boost

Türk Loydu, dünyanın ikinci büyük ekonomisi Çin Halk Cumhuriyeti’ne gerçekleştirdiği ziyaret kapsamında, Çin’in milli klas kuruluşu China Classification Society ile işbirliği anlaşması imzaladı.

The Turkish Lloyd visited the home of the world’s second largest economy, People’s Republic of China, and signed an agreement with the China Classification Society.

The Turkish delegation met with the society at its General Headquarters in Beijing. It was there that they talked business CCS’s President Mr. Mo Jianhui and other top executives, whereby potential collaboration between the two parties was among the subjects discussed.


Towards the end of the talks, both sides agreed to an agreement covering technical collaboration, an exchange of expert personnel, and the development of a common rules between the two parties, as well as research and development.


The President of the Turkish Lloyd Mr. Cem Melikoğlu, made a statement about the cooperation agreement, in which he expressed how happy he was to collaborate with the CSS, who happens also to be a member of the International Association of Classification Societies (ICSS).

The Turkish delegation also made a visit to the Turkey’s Ambassador to China in Beijing, Mr. Abdülkadir Emin Önen, whereupon the they exchanged discussion on what business opportunities there are available in China
