Turkish Lloyd continues its digitalization works

TÜRK LOYDU, DİJİTALLEŞME ÇALIŞMALARINI SÜRDÜRÜYOR

Turkish Lloyd has introduced its TL Hull Scantling / Steel Hull Scantling Program to its customers, one of the software created to rapidly adapt to new digital standards and shape its processes accordingly and to meet its customers’ expectations to the highest level.

TL Hull Scantling/Steel Hull Scantling Software is designed to allow users to easily calculate the structural scantling of steel vessels.

The customers, through the TL Hull Scantling with advantages and key features, such as Easy Modelling, Strong Consistency and Error Control, Rapid Calculations, One-Click Access to Detailed Results, User-Friendly and Intuitive Interface, etc., can perform faster and more reliable transactions for Hull Girder Strength and Final Strength Criteria, Flow Strength, Buckling, Minimum Thicknesses, Local Strength Criteria of the Boards and Support Elements, Evaluation of the Transverse Sections and Bulkheads Throughout the Vessel

Cem Melikoğlu, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Lloyd Foundation, assessed the digitalization processes of Turkish Lloyd and the TL Hull Scanning/Steel Hull Scanning Software:

“The COVID-19 Pandemic forced businesses to rapidly transform their processes into a world which is already being digitized. The outbreak was brutal for businesses, which were unable to swiftly deliver or adapt the digital versions of their services. In this process, every corporation has to make the most effective use of digital technology. It is essential to respond as quickly as possible to the demands of our clients and to provide a competitive service of superior quality. The corporations that cannot renovate their digital infrastructure and restore their identity may be forced to leave the race one day.

As Turkish Lloyd, we always strive to understand the users’ expectations and integrate technological changes in our systems and offer our customers advanced software possibilities.

Each crisis brings along some opportunities as well as its challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic provided us with the participation and opportunities needed to accelerate our digitalization journey. As Turkish Lloyd, we        will continue to develop our digital processes by identifying the distinctive elements that manifest us in our industry.
