Turkish Lloyd joined the International OCX Consortium as a full member, which will conduct studies on the newly developing 3D plan approval.
World’s leading classification communities such as DNV, Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Vertias, Class NK, also including Turkish Lloyd, established the International OCX Consortium to conduct 3D plan approval studies. The organization will perform the OCX standardization studies required for 3D Plan Approval.
Compared to the 2D plan approval process, the 3D plan approval process offers the following advantages: reducing engineering processes, accelerating the design verification process, reducing shipyard workload and determining the requirements of the classification rules more easily.
