Anadolu Shipyard achieved a big success by delivering at once 4 landing vessels it has produced for the Qatar Navy, including 1 Landing Craft Tank (LCT), 2 Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM) and 1 Landing Craft Vehicle and Personnel (LCVP).
Built in such a short period as 22 months, the vessels raised Qatar flag with a ceremony that took place in the presence of a committee of 20 people arriving from Qatar. In the speeches delivered during the ceremony, the representatives from Qatar presented their gratitude to each one of the persons involved in the project and expressed the satisfaction they felt for cooperating with Anadolu Shipyard. Following a marine training of 6 weeks, the vessels will be sent to Qatar. Anadolu Shipyard had previously built and successfully delivered to the Qatar Navy in 36 months 2 OPV class Battle Training Boats.
