Military logistical vessels and tugboats which were built by the shipyards in Tuzla, heart of Turkish shipbuilding sector, diverted their routes to the world. There is an important increase in the number of vessels exported to the world especially Denmark and Italy.

Acceleration on exportation of vessels to the world especially Denmark and Italy is increasingly rising up. The steps that the government took to boost the maritime affect the sector positively. Thanks to government promotions provided for shipyards and the promotions like being the permissions 49 years for shipyards, there is a positive mobility in maritime sector. Sanmar Shipyard which is on the top in terms of building tugboats and Selah Shipyard carrying on works for military defense industry with its oil prospecting rig support vessels opened doors for press members.

The tugboat ‘’Svitzer Pacuare’ ,built in Sanmar Shipyard and has the capability of rotating 360 degrees, waits being exported to Denmark. The tugboat sold at 6 million has the capability of pulling 300 thousand ton vessels in an emergency.

At Selah Shipyard, which is one of the phenomenal shipyard in the world in terms of shipbuilding for defense industry and energy industry, military logistic vessel which will be exported to Italy in May was exhibited. In this 90 meters vessel, there are lots of properties from emergency intensive care unit to helipad, from landing strip to mobile fire station.
