The efforts for building “Armed Unmanned Surface Warfare Vessel” and “Unmanned Anti-Submarine Vessel”, under the partnership of Aselsan and Sefine Shipyard, continue at a great pace.
While the building of the surface warfare vessel continues at a great pace, the sheet cutting of the anti-submarine vessel has been completed and the building phase has begun. It is planned that the vessels will be launched shortly, tested at sea, and be ready for use by the end of the year.
The vessels will reach speeds of more than 40 knots (74 kilometers per hour). These autonomous vessels, which will serve for about 4 days by exceeding a range of 600 nautical miles without refuelling, will have a perfect mission and navigational capabilities even in the most difficult naval conditions thanks to their high maneuverability and speed.
