Based on Robert Allan’s TRAktor 3000-Z design, the tugboat has a length overall of 30.45 meters, a mould breath of 12.8 meters and a navigation draft of 6.35 meters. The tug boat was built to provide high escort performance and fast forward and backward manoeuvring to satisfy the owner’s needs.
The tug boat, having an outstanding barrier pull of 75 tons and capable of generating a steering force of more than 80 tons, can reach 13 knots. The tug boat, Bsmse, was announced to be appointed to the Norwegian Brevik operations by its owner.
