It seems that Turkey will come into play with its naval vehicles, after its armed unmanned aerial vehicles, in the world defense market. Two European countries aspire to the unmanned marine vehicle ULAQ.
ULAQ SİDA (Armed Unmanned Marine Vehicle), designed and developed jointly by Ares Shipyard and Meteksan Defense, attracted the attention of Europeans.
Agreements for the first export of the project, are almost achieved with two European countries.
Oğuzhan Pehlivanlı, Deputy General Manager of Ares Shipyard, said, “I am pleased to state that there are European countries that aspire to ULAQ. Final negotiations with the two countries, which are about to be completed, will be concluded soon. I think we will be making the announcement of our agreements early 2022.”
