Designed and developed by Turkish engineers, ZEETUG received the Green Apple Environment Award, the world’s most prestigious environmental award.
Designed by the experienced team of NAVTEK Marine Technology in 2019, the World’s First Fully Electric, Rechargeable and Zero Emission In-Harbour Tugboat, ZEETUG®, added a new one to the ‘Tug of The Year’ award presented by International Tug&Salvage with a ceremony held in London on October 25th, with its environmentally friendly and innovative design.
The 2020 winner of the ‘THE GREEN APPLE ENVIRONMENT’ awards performed by The Green Organization, held since 1994 to recognize, reward and promote environmental best practices worldwide, was ZEETUG®, the world’s first electric sea vehicle designed and developed by Turkish engineers.
