Tersan Shipyard signed two contracts with Norwegian companies, Østerfjord AS and Ervik Havfiske, for two separate fishing vessels.
Tersan Shipyard signed a contract with Norwegian company Ervik Havfiske to build a factory fishing vessel. The vessel, that will be operated for fishing operations in Atlantic, is the hundredth project of the shipyard and the sixth vessel built for Ervik Havfiske.
The vessel will be equipped with advanced fish processing equipment and with “moonpool” system for fishing in extreme weather conditions. While first three vessels, the shipyard built for Ervik Havfiske, are successfully conducting fishing operations, the fourth and fifth vessels are scheduled to be delivered at the end of 2019. Tersan recently signed a contract with Østerfjord AS for a factory fishing line vessel, 67 meters in length. The hybrid vessel, designed by Marinteknik and will be built by Tersan Shipyard, will carry out fishing operations in Atlantic. The vessel will be equipped with advanced fishing technologies and will be equipped with different fishing systems. The steel cutting of the vessel, which is 67 meters in length and 14.6 meters in width, is planned to perform in the beginning of 2020, and delivery is scheduled in mid-2021.
