Tersan Shipyard has successfully delivered the second LNG Fuelled Live Fish Carrier Nb1089, built for Nordlaks.
The LNG Fuelled Live Fish Carrier named after Harald Martin is the second in the series and one of the largest live fish carriers Tersan Shipyard has ever built.
The vessel which has length of 84 meters and breadth of 19 meters is a unique vessel with its propulsion system as well as its technologically advanced fish transport systems. Harald Martin, which is a unique vessel thanks to its innovative design with two LNG tanks of 135 m3 each and four separate fuel conditioning systems connected to them, provides a 30 percent reduction in CO2 emissions compared to the traditional diesel engine with the use of gas engines.
With the use of liquefied natural gas, it was aimed to reduce the NOx emissions of the vessel by 90 percent.
