The first of the two Logistics Support Vessels, TCG Yzb. Güngör Durmuş (A-574), built for the Naval Forces Command within the scope of the Logistics Support Vessel Project, was delivered to the Turkish Navy.
Started to be built by Selah Shipyard in 2015 in accordance with the requirements of the Turkish Navy, but could not be delivered due to some problems of the shipyard, TCG Yzb Güngör Durmus logistics support vessel was finally delivered to the Navy.
The vessel’s testing and equipment activities were performed at the Ada Shipyard. Designed by the Naval Forces Command and projected by the Presidency of Defense Industry and finally classified by Turkish Lloyd, the Logistic Vessel was also provided with design support by the STM. Heliport and landing systems of the vessel were conducted by HeliPlat.
